So i decided to start with the street lamp again because i felt the first design was too rounded and didnt fit in with the style of the scene... So i looked at my reference images again and found a design with sahrper edges and it was more sqaure, fitting in with the scene better... I think straight away, even with this simple design you can see a big improvement... I've just got to add in the details and change a few bits here and there but im much happier with this model...
