The Matrix is full of references to Baudrillard's Postmodern theory throughout the trilogy and follows the ideas and concept of hyperreality, a very Postmodern subject. Using The Matrix, in the context of Postmodernism, I will be able to show a specific type of Postmodern theory as an aid for further developing an understanding for the reader. I will use labels to keep all my research together, this research can be found under the section of Postmodernism.
